I'm with my wife and kids and we reside in knoxville, tn for the moment. Were trying to move back to georgia real soon. I had lived in greene county for about 5 years until 2001. Were moving to augusta and need some help. What's a nice place for raising families with good schools.

Evans, Martinez, Aiken, North Augusta, and West Augusta are nice places to live and have good schools.

I didn't say anything earlier in the day. The boosters from greenville are really getting on my nerves now. Why do you keep posting in our forum trying to bash our city. Were not posting on the greenville forum bashing it.

North Augusta is a pretty cool place to raise kids. The Greenway is a nice bike path that can get you around a good part of the town and traffic is pretty managable. West Augusta is very nice too. The Augusta canal has some nice places and parks along it.

Lots of people will tell you Evans and Martinez, mostly on account of the schools. I don't like the traffic there as much, but the people I know out there like it.

One thing it would really depend on is,How much you can afford in a house or apartment. For instance, the surrounding areas of Augusta, like martinez,Evans,Grovetown,North Augusta(which is South Carolina)would be safer and nicer nighborhoods and ofcourse better schools, but these areas are more expensive also. However,if you want to be right here in Augusta,I would say,West Augusta, would be your best choice.

Hey Dude,Maybe you have some kind of issue with this town and feel the need to use this site and more importantly this man's thread to get some B S off your chest or just maybe your just being a real SMART ASS.In either case, the man seeking valuable information from locals here in Augusta,(by the way,I'm one of them}or the rest of Augusta's population here, don't want to hear your mindless, igorant, full of B S,nagative comments about our town.So if you don't mind, keep your opions to yourself and go "GET A LIFE"
