CURRENT "STATS"
-Currently reside in Jacksonville, FL (2 miles from the beach).
-Married to awesome Christian husband with two incredible kids ages 6 & 9.
-Husband is considering job offer in Augusta, GA/Ft. Gordon area.
-Hubby and I are visiting Augusta tomorrow just for overnighter/datenight.

?
-What should we do?
-Where should we go?
-What should we see?

It is my understanding that Columbia County - Evans and Martinez have solid school programs. Can anyone recommend nice family neighborhoods that feed into the best schools?

What is the commute like from Evans to Ft. Gordon?

Does anyone attend Wesley United Methodist church? Tell all. Any other church recommendations?

Is there any information that you would like to share? Any tidbits, like if you would have known what you know now, etc?

Thank you so much for taking time to reply.

The commute from Evans to Ft. Gordon depends of what part of Evans you live in. But the normal commute should be about 20-25 minutes unless heavy traffic.

Things to do Augusta mall, Fort Discovery, Savannah rapids pavillion, Adventure crossing. Saturday market on broad street is tommorrow downtown. Downtown should also have some events or something going on.

There are plenty of museums downtown if you are in to that. The Augusta museum of history has a James Brown exhibit.
