You may also want to look in Evans/Martinez area. 25-30 minutes to the airport. And some good schools...

Depending on where you are from in NY, you will find Augusta area much more compact and easy to get around...

Thanks we visited Augusta over the weekend and loved it. Saw a couple of neighborhood's in Hephzibah & Goshen that fit us nice.

Willis foreman probably does have the most middle class housing. On one road in the Hephzibah area. I notice they are still building new subdivisions on the road.

The brown rd area in Hepzhibah is becoming more built up recently.

I'd live at Goshen Plantation. Very close to the airport. Nice golf course, houses aren't too bad. You can get a small condo on the golf course or find a house. Heather Glen is another subdivision not too far from the airport, nice houses, imo.

Anybody moving to Hephzibah Pine hill middle school. Will open up in August 2009.

Hephzibah is a nice place to live. Gracewood, Goshen, and Diamond Lakes surrounding Hephzibah are nice too.
