At the Kroger on Washington Road near Alexander Drive four new restaurants will soon open. They include Kobe Steakhouse, Moe's Southwest Grill, Five Guys Burgers and Einstein Brothers Bagels.

Five Guys is just awesome. I ate at one in Washington, DC and it was probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten..but their fries are the bomb.. almost more like English style chips.. and one order of them is enough for 3 people.
As far as Einsteins Bagels, I think Dunkin Donuts is better and cheaper. Moes is pretty good.. used to eat at the ones in Atlanta a lot, but I'd really like to see Augusta get a Baja Fresh or Willy's Cantina... those are the best fast food mexican joints around in my opinion. Kobe Steak house.. now that's impressive. If that's what I am thinking it is.. this will definately be a first for Augusta, as Kobe is on par with Ruth's Chris or Mortons.

Im happy to see restaurants that are not in Augusta coming here. Except for Moe's because there is one already in Evans.

I ate at the Five Guys in Columbia, SC and yep their burgers are really good! Fries too. I'm glad to see it's coming here. I'm glad to see a Kobe Steakhouse coming too. Sick of Myabi always being jam packed. I don't go there anymore because no matter when you go, it's jam packed. What I really wish this area had is a kick-butt gourmet deli. Village Deli is the one that comes closest. Something like TooJay's in Florida or even better like The Market at Larimer Square in Denver.

I didn't think it was possible for there to be a better burger chain than In-n-Out, until I tried 5 guys.
