Wow ESD I didnt even think about Gordon Hwy! You gave sumthing to think about. Only if they could find what they want to do with the Regency Mall. Only when a major development happen there will say Augusta has arrived. Maybe Augusta Tech could that land. Plus Augusta have a secret weapon for this bad economy, its called the Masters. Its going to be huge this year, Im talking breaking TV rating records.

Here is an article about selling the Patch for $1 to the state. that would stop the Patch costing us money. Then get it back same way we got the Golf Hall of Fame back. I would let the state keep it the golf course until the economy gets better. Hopefully by then ASU would have a solid plan and the nursing program will still intact.

ASU should move the sport fields to the patch and build the new buildings on wrightsboro.. This makes so much sense.

I'm all for the city helping ASU expand (whether it be through obtaining financing, locating property, etc.), but I'm NOT for the city giving anything to anyone. The city had to pay for that land, so ASU should also have to pay for that land (even if it is at a reduced rate, but they should still have to pay at least something).
