Can anyone tell me of a community similiar to houstons the woodlands? Looking for bike trails,parks,good schools,family friendly place to raise a family.

I am from Houston and love the Woodlands. I think you would love Georgetown. I have lived here 17 years and raised three kids here. It has all the benefits you mentioned, but it does not have as much traffic as the Woodlands and is not nearly as crowded. We have a historic square with shopping and festivals. We also have great shops in Wolf Ranch Towncenter and Ikea and an outlet mall between here and Round Rock (about 10 minutes away). Moderator cut: see comment

This year has been terrible! California is not the same and its only going to get worse. We made a huge mistake moving back, so we are returning to Texas. We are going to be Texans now!

Check out Canyon Creek, Far NW Austin. It has all of what you are looking for.
