If your looking for the above-referenced women, check out Devil's cove...it used to be where the dancers worked on their tans . There was an incident a few years ago when a two-level pontoon party boat capsized because everyone went to one side to check out the girls .

Uh oh. NOW you've done it! Hopefully my husband won't read this post or we're getting a boat

...or he can just check out the same girls dancing on stage on any given night at Sugar's- cheaper than the boat!

Yikes! I feel that I should clarify that I was only kidding and my husband isn't some topless-girl-watching-perv.

Err... I hope.

I mean, he's a guy... and I'm sure he wouldn't protest seeing an attractive topless woman if she happened to be in his line of sight. But I don't think he's going to go out of his way to buy a boat or go to a stripclub to do it.

Err... I hope.

Another dog question:

Any of y'all have terriers? We have a Jack Russell mix...and will probably get another JRT when we move but I'm wondering about a terrier (with high hunting instincts) and snakes. Anyone ever have a problem with their dog going after snakes?

Thanks!

Yes, dogs will go after snakes, and generally win . There really aren't that many poisonous snakes around (despite what it might sound like from here), and those will tend to be in pretty rural areas. Non poisonous snakes are not threat to a dog at all. Now, my brother had a couple of 14' pythons, and the little terriers would be advised not to tackle them .

Actually, JRT or no, many dogs go after snakes. Again, statistically, I suspect that many more dogs are lost to coyotes than snakes. Coyotes hunt in organized packs and can take down most dogs, regardless of breed. Now, a coyote will not mess with a dog 99% of the time (they will avoid them), but some dogs just HAVE to go after the coyote. If your dogs are put up at night, then it is not a problem at all, and actual packs of coyotes are more rural. Individual urban coyotes go after cats.

Isn't that a movie, Urban Coyote?

Not that I know of...but it sounds like a good idea. Used as a metaphor for young, aggressive college boys, who spend there weekends hanging out in packs looking for easy prey...hmm, might work.

There are also snake-training classes you can bring your dog to. I'm planning to do one before we move... just in case.

I'm thinking about that as well, but some have suggested that might be overkill...unless you're are a bird hunter and such.

Well, we actually have to pet ball pythons. They're babies. The dog doesn't seem all that interested but I have a feeling that would be totally different if it was slitering across HER yard. LOL

Thanks for all the feedback!
