I'm up in Leander, and will be ripping everything out of my flower bed in the front of my house and redo everything from scratch this fall. I don't know where to dispose of the shrubs and the like. Do I just make sure it's cut up small and put it on the curb, or is there somewhere that I need to take them to?

I cut them up and put them into those giant paper lawn bags. Round Rock Refuse will only take 6 extra bags after your garbage can is full so I've had to put some with neighbors garbage or wait until the following week to put out more. You'll be amazed how much you can squish into them. They get heavy though.

In the past, we have hauled shrubs and tree trimmings to Whittlesey in Round Rock. You just dump it out and they shred it up for recycling.

Usually though, we go the brown paper bag thing at the curb.
