Hey everyone, my friend and I are moving to Austin and are looking to set up our utilities early. I have found many different natural gas companies but do not know which one is the best. None of them got very good ratings. I am looking at the Texas Gas Company, however I notice that they do not offer online billing which is something that I use alot.

I'll be living in Rattan Creek in Williamson County. North/West area of Austin. Anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if you have an option of selecting your natural gas company.
ATMOS energy is what I have in Cedar Park. They do have online billing

We have Texas Gas Service in Steiner. I really don't know how any have a rating. I have never had to talk to them beyond the setup. I did have to fax a form including SSN, which I am really hesitant to give out, but they would not give me service without it. I just hope they shred their faxes properly after setting up service.
