Looking for a female Dermatologist in the North/NW Austin area who is focused on health (annual mole checks for a rehabilitated sun worshipper). The reason why I say this is because I have been to someone who wasn't concerned about moles and instead focused on ways to improve my appearance with cosmetic procedures.

I have some names of specialists within my medical network - can anyone vouch for any of the Dermatologists below?:

Dr. Margaret Curry
Dr. Susan Dozier
Dr. Janet Dubois
Dr. Katherine Farady
Dr. Adrienne Feasel
Dr. Toni Funicella
Dr. Margaret Hart
Dr. Amy Mason
Dr. Renee Snyder

Thank you in advance!

See if Lisa Rhodes is in your network.
Saw her when I first moved here several months ago- her focus is medical and I really liked her.

Farady sounds familiar with me. I think, actually, that my sister recommended her to me.

I've been to Janet Dubois, but only for one routine checkup. I have a neighbor who speaks highly of her. I thought she was good but it was hard to judge based on the simplicity of my appt (mole check).

She is in the Arboretum area, and like most dermatologists around here, the first appt takes a few months to get. After that, you can get in faster.

And, so, anyone who is new to C-D and googles for this information (which many do which is one way that older threads, particularly informational ones, get reborn) will have the original AND updated information! Isn't that nice?

Yes, but aren't we a little suspicious of FIRST-time posters who sign on to promote OR denigrate a business or service provider(twice in two minutes!)? I know the mods are(on numerous fora I frequent). Just sayin' (again) .
