Greetings All....

Anyone know where I can recycle plastic shopping bags in the Oak Hill/Sunset Valley Area? It doesn't look like the HEB that I shop at takes them.

I typically use my own bags but sometimes I forget them....

Also, just want to mention I have been in Austin a few months now and I absolutely love it here!!!!

Thank you in advance.

Target stores often have a bin near the customer service counter.

I've seen bins at HEB grocery stores too.

HEB takes them. There is usually a marked bin outside near one of the entrances. Just go to customer service and ask.

HEB usually have them by the entrance. Walmart also has a bin by the customer service counter.

Some Walmarts have them in the entrance area, so you might look there too.

All Reid's dry cleaners have a huge box where you can drop off plastic bags (including your dry cleaning plastic bags). They don't make you feel weird at all about just dropping off bags. they also take old metal dry cleaning hangers).

There are lots of home uses like to pick up dog poop, collect trash in your bathroom or car, scoop old charcoal out of the grill. I always laugh when I see people with cloth shopping bags buying dog poop bags and other small household bags.

You're spending way too much time analyzing other shopper's purchases.

This is VERY good to know! My hubby's uniform company doesn't take back the wire hangers his clean uniforms arrive on each week & the wire hangers have bred like rabbits & taken over my closet!!!

I'm going to have to find a Reid's close to my house & get rid of a seemingly ton of wire hangers!!
