Cyclists, runners, swimmers, rowers, water skiiers, walkers, etc. stay active and outside all summer here. Maybe not so much at 4 p.m. in August.....
They must be some kind of machines. In the summer I am sweating immediately when I go outside. I am not some disgusting fat dude, either. When I am in the garage working on my car I leave puddles on the floor from the sweat just pouring off my face like an open faucet.

Now that it is "winter" I can finally go outside in comfort and laugh at everyone wearing scarves and gloves when I am comfortable without any jacket at all.

I do see people outside during the hottest part of July and August, but that fact remains they have somehow acclimated to it. There are many other places in the country that actually have a pleasant summer in which one doesn't have to put their body through so much just to acclimate. Places like Denver, Sacramento, Portland, and even Seattle have great summer climates that are completely condusive to the average individual being outdoors in a pleasant natural environment. I see people outside in Houston as well in the summer. But again, that is a CHOICE. My choice would be to stay indoors as much as possible, but some other people want to prove a point and train their bodies under the most brutal conditions.

Since you are serious - then I suppose you have not yet acclimated. When I work on my car (in a carport) in the summer, I too sweat like crazy. Yardwork is a non-trivial activity in the heat of the day. I long ago learned to moderate my activity level when it is 95+ degrees. The threat of heat related problems is very real in temperatures like that.

But I can only suggest that you WILL over time, find the heat easier to deal with. I think it will occur faster if you don't restrict yourself so much when it is hot.
