I will be coming to Temple and will be needing a ride to the airport in Austin. It was suggested to me to post here for some ideas. I was wondering if there are any buses that run from downtown temple to the airport on a decent schedule? Or what the cost of a taxi would be from the bus station to the airport?
Thanks

I could not find any good information on busses from Temple to Austin, I expected there should be some.

You can use google maps to get that information. If you come in on Amtrak as discussed in your Texas post you will arrive in Austin at

250 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78703 (Amtrak-Austin)

You need to go to

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, 10000 Logistics Ln, Austin, TX 78719

You can use the "Directions" function on google maps to get the route information, click on the bus icon after you have the "Directions" panel open.

It will tell you that you have to walk about 3/4 mile (20 minute walk) to 7th and Colorado bus stop ID #5093, then take the Capital Metro Bus #100 to the airport. It makes about 5 stops on the way there and takes about 22 minutes.

Google maps listed busses leaving 7th and Colorado at 1:55 pm, 2:35 & 3:15 PM, there are probably more times if you check the Capital Metro website.

I was thinking that it would be easy to catch a plain as that is fairly slow moving in geophysical time--whereas a plane is subject to quicker measurements
