All the more reason to believe that paying extra for neighborhoods with "good schools" is a false notion, and that 50% (or more) of the real estate in Austin is overpriced.

Default Map is biased

This map is old and the data is skewed.

Here is an interactive map, created by Soma:
The New, Interactive Singles Map. Or, Looking for Love in All the Statistically Wrong Places.

If you look at the guy to girl ratio for single women vs single men, ages of 25 and 39, you will see men out number women all of the country. The reason for this is that women in America are still marrying early in life. Once you look at the older range, you will see that there are more single women than men. This is because the number of divorces are high and these newly single women are not getting remarried. Soma gives many other hypothesis's.

If you adjust the slider between 25 and 39, you will see a few red clumps...in the south. Not sure why??? Any guesses?

^ Alright, I'm going to have to move to Springfield, MA. Lots of ladies there. ^

Killen has the highest male to female ratio in the 18-24 age range. I wonder why...

San Francisco is consistently male-filled. But that doesn't matter...

B/c Ft. Hood Soldiers live in Killeen. Almost 90% (guessing) of soldiers get shipped to Ft. Hood. Most soldiers in the army are male.

I see your sarcasm detector wasn't turned on. No worry, these scanners don't work in an internet environment.
