I have very fond memories of going to livestock auctions just to watch when I was a little kid. I am thinking there must be somewhere we can go to do this with our kids near Austin?

I think they still have one in Georgetown (used to be on Thursday night, not sure if it still is). Fredericksburg still has one, as well, not sure what night of the week.

I think Round Mountain has one. Not sure of the schedule. The truckstop there should know. I think the name was Berkles or Berkley's, not sure. There is only one so it shouldn't be hard to find.

You also have them in Lulling, Lockhart, Hamilton, etc.
