It's kinda odd that you are specifically looking to date caucasians.

1. She looks hot+makes good money=she could be girlfriend material (not necessarily wife material...), and I dont have to spend much money while dating her.

I'm not saying every man who asks the question is with that intention, some do because they're shy and dont know what to say, some for networking purposes but that depends on the settings. A lot of men here care a lot about the woman's income, that's what I'm trying to say, maybe i'm not explaining myself.

About what circles I run? All these guys I have dated are professionals with bachelors, master's, and even doctorate. If you're surprised, maybe that means Austinite men are better? If that is so, good for me then!

As an attempt to get this forum back on track, I welcome everyone who is or has been involved in an interracial relationship/dating in Texas to share their experience. My question about what city was best was answered, so I'm out. Thanks to everyone who answered my question. See you in Texas!!!

I read through all this looking for an answer to TylerJAX's question. With her dodging the question and her comments....well... moving along...

Did TylerJax made a question or comment? It looks to me like a comment. If you Mr. Detroit have a question, why don't you ask EXACTLY what you want to know? I'll be happy to answer your question.

Well, a Hispanic/Caucasian couple would not be an "interracial" couple because there is no such race as "Hispanic". Hispanic is an ethnicity, comprised of many different races. I have no idea why people don't understand this.

The following people are all Hispanic:

While you will obviously run into those who are "profiling", it's been my experience that most of the guys I know place little value in earnings relative to the employment question. I tend to hang around professionals as well and the question seems more related to gauging "intelligence" or "sophistication" vs income. Similar to your comment, I do personally know guys who will not hesitate to "have a go" with say, a hot grocery store cashier, but would never consider truly dating her (and certainly no chance of marriage). But again, this really isn't a money issue (at least with them), more along the lines of finding "peers".

Back to the original question. All my relationships in Austin have been multiracial, and other than some issues with family members, I've not had any problems at all. Of course, the specific races of the individuals can influence this a lot as well as the general groups on hangs around (e.g. a group of tech professionals is likely to have different views than a bunch of tenured college profs who will be different than migrant workers, etc).

I answered my own question and it was deleted due to being awfully sexist and perhaps a tad racially provacative lol. I'm not accusing the OP of doing so, but dating people because of straight up racial fetishism is awfully shallow and mentally/emotionally unhealthy.
