is it strange that I've never been on 620?

I know its there (vaguely waving hand in the direction of west), now I'm glad I've missed it!

Well, yeah, sort of. Some of Austin's finest offerings in the way of enjoyment have been accessible from 620 since I first got here in 1969 and lived around campus. Living Central (which I've done off and on for decades) doesn't mean ignoring everything that the area has to offer!

Coincidentally, this comic strip was in yesterday's Statesman and it definitely applies to this thread.

There are not enough signs explaining what the actual limit is..Today I drove behind two people going 42 and 43 mph from Anderson Mill to past Boulder! Limit there is 65mph and I could do nothing but sit and wonder how these people get through life!!!!

It is worth a trip to the Oasis, at least once.

You do realize that 65 is the upper limit, not the lower, don't you? As far as I know there's no official lower speed limit on 620 (as there are on some freeways - if there were, there would be signage).

Yes, but IIRC, state law says slower traffic should keep to the right and not impede the flow.
