Hi, I'm(50)but retired and living on disabilty and want to relocate near austin and get out of snow/cold.
I really prefer smaller towns but could use the public transportation of the city.
I also like to ride my bike.
I like nature, trees, birds, greenspaces, quiet, nice folks.
I would appreciate a good library.
I would be renting an apartment.
I'm a female so somewhere safe.
Can anyone suggest areas for me?
Thanks

I am moving in July to Round Rock, which is close to Austin. Already rented an apartment in a very nice community,,The Links at Forest Creek,,. They have fourplexes , but all of them are with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. You can call my agent who found this place for me, she is awesome and she will do a great job. Also her services to you are free and it won't cost you a penny. I used about 7 locators trying to get what I wanted, but she really came through for us. Moderator cut: real estate recommendation

GOOD LUCK !

Also forgot to mention that I am the same age with you, and Round Rock is been listed as the 8th safest city in the US.
