Does anyone know how the smaller school districts in the area are doing? Hays, Dripping Springs, Lake Travis, Leander, Round Rock, etc.? Is it easier to get a teaching or subbing job out there, or is it just as bad?

Just as bad. Those are commutable from Austin so they are locked up as well.
