Rainey St. ,
E. 12th St. , and
E. 5th St . There seems to be more places opening up along those streets.

I saw a couple of hipsters at Elysium when I used to live in Austin: not that I am recommending Elysium; I did not even like that tacky club and I'm open minded. Austin hipsters aren't as common as people keep screaming about

I hung out mostly at Rio Rita. That place isn't pretentious at all. It's very chilled and laid back. And they're always pretty friendly as I've always found someone to talk to there. It's more loungey than anything and a great place to meet up with friends.
