Default Cutting to the chase....

Thanks you guys for all your insight... especially about the hiring freeze. I'm not necessarily looking to move somewhere with a large concentration of black people. I actually prefer a mix of races. I just don't want to move anywhere where I have be cautious about going to a certain area or if I have to wonder if there is some known code that black people aren't welcome there. Basically I'm wondering is the low ratio of AA associated with racism?

Austin has a reputation for of being a liberal city but it's still Texas. 99 percent of people will treat you nice. But you will have moments here that will remind you of where you are. Not often but they will happen.
