Flipping though the dial today, instead of the oldies, 92.5 has some morons yammering in Spanish. Great, just what this town needs, even less variety for American radio stations and one more Spanish one.

At least 93.7 finally gave the boot to Charlie Hodge.

I was also disappointed. There seem to be lots of Spanish stations, whatever, it's a business decision. I do miss the oldies!

98.9 is now an oldies station. I was listening to the maniacal right winged talk for a while, but it changed a couple weeks back. To say the least, I'm pleased.

Great station. Just programmed it on my car stereo. Sort of reminds me of KFRC when I lived in the SF Bay Area.

Do you have a link to a story about that?

There was a story about it in the Austin Statesman in the Sunday paper. Apparently there wasn't any other classic rock stations playing music at that time, and they wanted to go to a "more music - less talk" format for that time slot.
