I'll add a few other tidbits the judge told me.

1. NOAA said we're in the 2nd year of what's usually a 7 year drought cycle.
2. For Hays Co, it is so dry, it'll take 42" of rain in a 12 month period to remove the burn ban. I imagine it's the same in surrounding counties. So don't get your hopes up about seeing fireworks for the next decade.

So, there is no chance of a campfire this winter when we go camping - bummer.

Since it's a well-known fact* that 99%* of eepstein's posts are about his preoccupation with Austin people vomiting, I'm also surprised he didn't mention that.

(*The "fact" of that "statistic" is that I'm entitled to my opinion.)

we got a sprinke up north (far west/mopac area)
