My unemployed sister and her 5 month old just moved in with me a few weeks ago -- she called me a few minutes ago saying her crown fell out and she was in pain. She has NO money and she won't let me pay for her dental work (I don't really have the money and it'll go on a credit card) so I'm looking for someone that could recommend a dentist that has low fees for people that can't afford dental care.

Thanks!

A place NOT to go...Castle Dental. My dentist says most of his new business comes from former Castle patients.

Not that it hasn't probably been dealt with, but dental cement works wonders for stopping the pain from an exposed tooth nerve.

I've had A LOT of dental work done in the last year or so by Castle - no complaints here!

I had to change dentists to Castle Dental, near Circle C, last year because my health care provider dropped numerous other providers from their coverage. I am happy to say that I have received far better dental care from Castle Dental then I did at the previous four dentists that I have used over the last 30 years.

My experience with Castle Dental includes an extraction of a cracked tooth, that **** Dental had done on a root canal the year before, an implant and new crown, re-cementing an old crown that came loose, and two cleanings.

Castle Dental was able to provide all of the services I needed at one location, while my previous dentist, **** Dental, sent me all over town to different specialists every time I needed something. Any time anything more then a simple filling was needed **** Dental had to send me to a specialist. It seemed to me that they did only the easy work that had a high profit margin, like installing a crown, which was made by another specialist.

With **** Dental, this was my experience: I returned to **** Dental when I started having pain at a root canal they had done the previous year. He sent me to a "specialist" to examine the tooth, who said the root was cracked and he could not do anything for me other then extract it. Back to my primary dentist, who sent me to a third specialist to do the extraction of the cracked tooth, and later to place the implant, which he does only in his North office so I had to drive to North MoPac for that procedure; then after it healed, back to **** Dental to install the crown. All this required multiple visits to each "specialist", each with separate fees for initial and subsequent visits. I was paying for multiple visits to different practitioners that were not necessary with Castle Dental.

This last year I had to have another implant done to replace a tooth that **** Dental had worked on. Everything needed was done by Castle Dental at their Circle C location. Initial exam, extraction, implant, new cap, all at one location with far fewer visits.

I am very happy with the services they have provided.
