I've done a few searches and everything I read about them has me scared. I have an appointment in January. Before they clean my teeth (I'll have to make another appointment) they will do a consult and x-rays. I've read you have to give them your credit card information before you can be seen. Any way I can get out of here with just the basics and actually get my teeth cleaned?

What value do you expect to get from their consultation? If you need another appointment to actually get anything done, you might as well make that appointment somewhere else.

My dental insurance gives a handful of options. I can use omni or castle dental. Is castle dental better? I also have the option of using a dds named Ting Chen. Anyone heard of him?

We have a dental hmo and Castle is one of the and my husband has been to the one in Cedar Park and likes them. They had pretty new equipment and he said it was fine. Good luck I hate having such limited choices but the trade off is really low prices.
