If its not GWADLUPE, then its The DRAG. And, yes it is MANSHACK. Just like The city name is Austin not waterloo. Further, its not Pace Bend its Pale Face. Not Ceasar Chavez but East First. Not Dean Keeton but 26th St. Not LadyBird but Town Lake. And its still Memorial Stadium.

CentralAustinite, u must have gone to UT after 94, bcuz growin up in 70/80s everyone drank Lonestar, Pearl, Schlitz, or Coors in Austin. Miller Lite began its run in the 80s with clever marketing. Shiner still came in a generic white can with black letters until they repackaged their product and finally began marketing it. Lonestar is still great bcuz its cheap and good and less bubbles means more beer

No, I started as a grad student in 1990 and stayed way too long! But Shiner Bock may have been a "grad student thing" lord knows we wouldn't drink with undergrads! We drank with profs!

They shoulda done a behind the scenes bit where they are all drinking lone star, watching Dave chappelle dvds, repeating the whole Clayton Bigsby scene word for word. I'll bet one C-note that the majority of those guys have it memorized.

Cute, I like it.
So true about Manor, everyone not from here (even other Texans!) get that wrong.
