The good news is that the Pedernales River is running at peak flow right now, the dams upstream have flood gates open as well. They predict that Lake Travis will rise about 7 feet in the next 24 hours.

Typical Austin attitude on this forum. Everyone wants to talk about the weather but no one wants to DO anything about it.

What should we DO about the weather? Turn it off? schedule it differently? I really am not sure what you mean by this....?

I don't think you have been around here for long. And you didn't live through the drought the last two years. So lots of rain that can fill up the lakes is big news.

What do YOU want to do about the weather? Please enlighten us.

Maybe he wants to volunteer to do some Indian rain dances so we'll get more rain, perhaps?

Lake Travis' water level is now just at 638' - almost 6 feet higher than it was Monday morning. Still a long way to go to get to normal, but it is nice to see it moving up. It is almost 12 feet higher than the low last fall.
