I'd have to say in the apartments/condos/whatever-they-ares in The Domain.

I went there over the weekend, and while it's a fun place to shop, I cannot imagine anything worse than actually living there.

I mean, seriously—? It would be like living on top of an outside shopping mall with a nice view of ... well, a bunch of people shopping. I dunno. Something about that is really depressing.

And then there's the elevator music that blasts out of the loudspeakers while the place is still open. Can't the residents hear it inside of their homes?

Wouldn't ever live there, even if it was the cheapest place in Austin (which it definitely is not).

What about the rest of you?

Anywhere near Dove Springs area!

When Bergstrom was an Air Force Base, it was a nice neighborhood, of mostly military personnel.
NOT NOW.

I don't think 3 pitbulls and a Siberian Tiger, would keep your stuff where it is suppose to be, in that barrio.

Downtown. Lived there long, long ago, might have wanted to again once, not the way it is now.

Anyplace too far away from central austin, like steiner. It can take 15 minutes just to get out of steiner. Steiner is the worst because it has that stepford feel

I would definitely live in the domain

That's another place I don't think I'd be too having. It's a little too hipster for my tastes these days. It doesn't feel like Austin.

Lived there a long time ago, back when the warehouse district actually had warehouses and parking could be had all night and day. And yes, I realize I just dated myself.

To make you feel better, the warehouse district wasn't even a glint in anyone's eye when I lived there!

LOL! It probably didn't exist back when I was a wee child either, but I was too young to notice!
