I'm looking for hotel recommendations around HostGator, 8100 Cameron Rd., Austin, TX. Something clean and safe, around $75-100 a night.

Thanks!

Look just west of that address to the intersection of I-35 & 183. There are a dozen hotels clustered around that intersection, from cheap to expensive.

Offhand I'd say La Quinta, Country Inn, and Hyatt Place would all fit your criteria.

Ditto that, stay away from Rundberg Lane to the North, it is a high crime area.

All of the parking lots along IH-35 and 183 have theft problems, so don't leave any valuables in your automobile if you have one.

Hyatt Place, hands down. I travel about 70-90 days out of the year and hit up the HP whenever they're available.
There are 6 kinds of rooms at Hyatt Place, 3 "left facing" and 3 "right facing".
1. Accessible, meaning walk/roll in shower
2. Next to the elevator, so you have a 4'x4' weird square missing in the corner.
3. Generic King/2 Queen

42" TV in every room
Couch/Sleeper with room to stretch
Clean and predictable

Usually around 89-99/night for the one at the 35/183.
