Wow! That's impressive.

Did you spread the whole 1 cu yard on just that section?

No, I did the other side of the driveway also. I spread about 1/4" layer on the grass.

Wow, breaking news: fertilizer has sh*t in it! Wow, shocking!

No doubt, fertilizing ACL right before the event was dumb. But is that a fault of Dillo Dirt? Or any fertilizer? Or the fault of the city?

To me, this is only shocking if you thought Dillo Dirt was just dirt.

Unfortunatly the yard waste often contains weeds and diseased plants which can be spread to your yard.

What's the difference, beyond your own perception? You can take a crap on your lawn and it isn't the same thing as Dillo Dirt, not even close. The Dillo Dirt has been sanitized via the composting process and is free of pathogens. It is approved by the EPA for unrestricted use. As for the ACL idiots, they would have had rashes if they had rolled around in horse-manure based fertilizer, too. Dillo Dirt has been made and used around Austin for more than 20 years, and there is no evidence that it is causing health problems, is unsafe, or shouldn't be used. And one of the reasons they keep upping production volume is because this stuff works fantastic on lawns. In fact, I had a service aerate my lawn and put Dillo Dirt on it 10 days ago, and my drought-savaged lawn looks practically brand new.

I'd check with the HOA before I took a **** on my lawn just to be on the safe side.

I think my HOA only allows lawn turds on Sunday/Thursday (even numbered houses) and Monday/Friday (odd numbered houses). hahaha
