There was one at the corner of S. Lamar and Lamar Square. It disappeared this spring and is now the site of new construction. I'm wondering how long these open lots for food trailers are going to last sitting on such high dollar real estate....

On the subject of food trailers, I've always preferrred the parks in South 1st and Lamar. The massive SoCo park just seems like a tourist trap.

East 6th has a great variety and is not quite the mob scene that Soco can be.

If you reeeeeaaaally want very good, authentic and inexpensive mexican food, visit the restaurants along E Riverside.... such as El Taquito and Arandinas..... Most if not all the really good Mexican - and Asian - eateries are by the east side. The HEB by Burton also serves great Frescas.

Been to the food trailers on Congress. Not impressed..... and over-priced. Its obvious they cater to the 'tourists'...... Its not even close to the trailers in LA.

Yep, we don't tell the tourists about the good places.

I like the Yume stuff at the Peached Tortilla. Gordough's is also pretty awesome and unique.
