Moving from Frisco to austin to start a new life! I have sales and restaurant experience, i hear its alot easier to get a job in Austin compared to California. Can anyone recommend an area for single 22 yr old male, love to party and love music events, thanks!

Not that much easier since everyone wants to move here. Get a job first and then move unless you have lots of $$ saved up.

1) as previous post says, find a job first and then move unless you have lot of $$$ saved up
2) not sure about music scene, but austin nightclubs are no where close to SF's. I can vouch for that since when i lived in the bay area, we partied every fridays and saturdays for 4-5 yrs.. heck some weeks we even partied on thursday..

It might be easier in CA if you stop calling it Frisco. Not sure if anyone's told you this yet, but they hate that there.

I have to agree. When I first read the OP, I thought "He can't be originally from San Francisco, or even the Bay Area." Really. I've never know a Californian who used the term.

Move to the East side; we won't hate on you for using the name Frisco.

How about coming out on a vacation for a week during the summer and see if you still want to move out here then?

And I agree. I'm from the Bay Area also and we NEVER called SF "Frisco". We called it "The City".
