ewww....

just moved into a new apartment and the roaches are bad. the management has weekly pest control, they already came in and sprayed, our place is not a mess, but we still got them. and they are all babies. all the adults are dead.

what do you guys use to kill these little buggers? we have the roach motels, they seem to help but don't kill them all off. is there some sort of "miracle" product you guys may have discovered? thanks

Good old Boric Acid. It's cheap and it's effective. Sprinkle it liberally along baseboards and under sinks, and especially around holes in walls or floors where they may be entering from hidden nests.

Do the pest control people enter the apartments and treat them or just do the outside? If they just do the outside, have them do the inside as well.

If they are the smaller variety (and not the big, nasty tree roaches), then they are going to be harder to get rid of. Those are the kind that infest houses. The big, ugly ones prefer to stay outside.

If they are the small, German roaches, and your house is kept clean, I am going to guess that you have a neighboring apartment that is a mess and they are infiltrating yours.

man o man, there is a family next door and i suspect they are not very clean. i'm judging them, hate to do so, just because on their patio the kids draw in crayon on the walls. but the small roaches come through on thier side.

the management spray inside and out. they seem like they are on top of if i guess... the complex is nice, and very big and cheap in a great neighborhood, other than the bugs, its great.

bugs! argh!

Where are you? I have a friend who is looking for such a place (I mean, minus the bugs) right now.

However, collateral damage can be a problem.
