What ever happened to the waterpark development called "Blu Bamboo" is it still going to happen?

It looks dead to me, Jim. The developer failed to get the financing together by a critical date two years ago, which released the land for other uses, then last year it was reported as "going back to the drawing board," and nothing has been released since. As one of the commenter's to this story noted, with Schlitterbahn moving ahead in Cedar Park it just seems highly unlikely.

That Schlitterbahn Cedar Park park is moving at the pace of turtles too. With all these water restrictions, it'll be interesting to see if it actually gets off the ground. When I visited Six Flags, many of the water rides were operating at reduced flow or not at all.
