Hey was just curious how that rail commute works out for you, coming out of Pf? Park and ride, or take a connector to Howard station I presume?

OK. Read this:

Everything north of 183 is a human wasteland, all the way to the Canadian border.

That's ridiculous. It starts to get better around Chicago

I actually started hanging out on CD (which is a relocation forum, and therefore naturally attracts the sort of questions about which Realtors should knowledgeable) because I enjoy hearing what regular non-realtors have to say about neighborhoods, schools, commutes, rationales for picking certain areas over others, etc. I really appreciate the non-industry perspectives that are shared here and it helps me be better at what I do. If I can, in turn, give back some of what I know, that's why I pop in now and then.

We moved to our neighborhood in NXNW Austin for two reasons: better schools than northeast Austin, and proximity to work. The teachers at the schools weren't better, but the learning environment was. In my opinion, land developers ruined Austin, but that's another topic.

Ten year update: not a lot has changed. (This was a fun thread to dig into and recognize that nothing has changed).

What I'm seeing is that gentrification is slowly taking place in the Rundberg area. That being said, I agree with your observation. It hasn't changed much.

Just like before, it’s pocket-y. I have a friend that lives closer to Cameron and Rundberg. It’s a nice little spot. I had a coworker that lived near Rundberg and metric and it’s a very nice neighborhood and very shaded, but get out of the neighborhood back on Rundberg it’s very sketch.
