1.81" in Lost Creek. Looks like SW Austin must have gotten the best of this storm. But there is more in store all week long!

It rained and stormed in Lakeway for almost 6 hours straight, starting a bit before midnight..power went out several times at our house, very strong and loud thunderstorms..I can't remember a storm quite like it in recent memory.

I'm glad to hear that you folks in the Austin area are getting some rain. We have some in the forecast for the DFW area and I'm ready for it. We're still under watering restrictions but the lakes have been filling up again.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for rain throughout the summer. We sure don't want to go through what we have the last couple of years.

We are NW and the thunder and lightening kept me up all night. My yard sure loved the wet though! Will be mighty glad to get some more this week.
