Here's a related question.

When turning right on red and there are two turn lanes, can you turn right on red from the left-most turn lane?

This happens a lot @ William Cannon onto the north bound frontage of Mopac. I don't remember it ever being addressed in driver's ed 20 odd years ago.

I know I do that so I hope so! It doesn't seem to be prohibited in the code.
Some intersections do have signage saying you can't.
