Need to build a garage... (home, live, design)

Hey all,

We live out in Oak Hill (scenic brook oak hill, not legends oaks oak hill) and a few years ago we bought a home with a great view, but no garage. We've been scrimping and saving & would like to get some quotes to get a garage built. Ideally, we'd like to have someone design and build something we can complete in two stages: first, an attached carport for now but strong enough that we can add to it & later complete out the final garage when we have the money.

Any recommendations? I know we can just get someone off craigslist, but I'd like to do this right, and possibly in stages if it'll be too expensive to do it all at once.
