Well, lessee... Lambert was born and raised in Texas, which is too far west to qualify as hillbilly. She is a "Country" artist, but she's over at the electrified rock/blues end of that genre, which is pretty much the opposite of banjo.

And Jeff Bridges, he's born and raised in Los Angeles, even further away from hillbilly country, and although he is classified as a "Country" artist, he's definitely at the Western end of things. And no banjo.

But wait! I think I've got it! Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers! They've got a whole buncha banjoes! And while Steve Martin was born and raised in Orange County, California, the 5 member band is from Brevard, North Carolina and they play bluegrass, so there you go... 83.33% hillbilly!

I knew we'd get to the bottom of this.
