A tower like this is most welcoming than another stucco building. The tower itself maybe shorter but still looks damn good.

LOL. That's true. There's a render from another angle, and it looks like they could have kept the tiered shape. It's hard to tell from the other side, but that would help quite a lot if they did.

I'm really bummed about the design changes. It would be nice to have some more signature buildings downtown instead of just plain and boring.

Of course, even with the change, this will be one of the nicer looking buildings downtown.

On skyscraper forum, rumor is the tower at Block 24 is going to be around 70 stories
So there's still hope for an iconic tower there.
