I saw lots of threads on donuts.

Where can I get some fresh bagels?

I would like to get some fresh bagels every now and then in the morning. There's two Einstein's I am aware of. I live between Gattis School and Route 79, and drive south for work.

Thanks,
Chris

I know it's kinda generic but I always like the bagels at Dunkin's... there is the one at Gattis School and AW Grimes which may be on your way.

I forgot about that one. I remember seeing it in passing now. It's in that new shopping center. I will stop by there later today perhaps. Thanks.

eeew. Dunkin Donuts bagels are not real bagels. Having been raised in NJ, close to NYC, I am spoiled when it comes to real bagels.

I love Einstein's bagels - whole grain with cream cheese from the drive-thru. It's just a little out of the way.

if you can get there before lunchtime, i suggest trying the bakery within Randall's grocery at the corner of gattis and grimes. they come out of the oven around 6am, and they are as good (if not better) as/than einstein!

Oh I yearn for a really good bagel. None in Austin or Seattle. :-( I think it is related to environmental factors.
