Poop on the roof is really not unusual. Lots of critters use roof tops as transit, rest or even home. I believe that some poop there as a territorial marker. Probably, as stated, racoons or possums. Could also be squirrels. If acorns are dropping into your gutters, this is a great place to "shop" for food in the fall/winter.

I only got about .5 inches here in Circle C, but it was a hard rain for a brief time and should help to clean things off a bit.

I got almost an inch and a half in Westlake today. Last week I got just over half an inch and am around 2" for August. =)

Pretty great for an August in Austin.

On the weather thing they are saying there is a big storm forming over Kerrville and moving straight to Austin. It could be really big by the time it gets here.

There is a 60% chance of rain for 78701 @ 8 pm then it goes to 20% for 9pm, then to 100% chance of rain for 10 to midnight. Tomorrow it has 50% for most of the day.

Only downside is it is 85 degrees at my house, but really humid. Like even though it is only 85 it feels worse than a normal 100 degree day in Austin right now. Kinda like Houston.

Definitely a little touch of Houston out there...the air is thick. Hopefully, this 'front' will push through and allow a bit of dry(er) air in. We'll likely have some more storms before that happens.

By the bye, I'll take partial credit for the rain...I didn't JUST WASH my car, I bought a BRAND NEW one! Got caught in that frog-strangler on MoPac during lunch time Saturday...HOLY Guacamole . THAT was some serious rain! Got a bit over 1.5" in 90 minutes at the Avery Ranch abode.(Amazing how many people still ran their sprinklers last night ).
