Hi.

I am in a bad situation where I have expired permits related to a pool built on my property about 5 years ago. I was not aware of the expired pool permits till recently and the pool builder has since gone out of business.

I have to get the expired building and plumbing permits resolved with the City of Austin before I can sell my house. I am trying to find certified plumbers to open the permit with the City of Austin but am having a tough time finding anybody who is willing to do the required work.

I'd greatly appreciate any comments/suggestions from anybody else who have been in a similar situation and were able to resolve the expired pool permits successfully.

Thank you!

Yes, either hire help or go down to One Texas Center in person with your friendliest Texas smile and a very good attitude and beg mercy.

Be polite, get the names of everyone you speak to, and get any advice in writing.
