Has it ever been considered to have a separate Austin "burb" forum? Or "cities/towns" around Austin forum?

Local forums are added when Administrator determines there have been enough threads AND posts about a place to justify putting it in its own forum. He said a few years back that he no longer wants to add new forums for regions, just cities or counties.

Keep in mind that this is fundamentally intended as a relocation forum, attached to a relocation website, and that incoming people who are relocating tend to be looking first at general areas, not specific nabes.

True. That is what I used it for and many times had helpful input and many times had my fears alleviated. Moving here was frightening. Some good folks here on City Data, that is for sure.
