My boyfriend is a felon (3 years ago) and he has a very loving pit bull.
It is very difficult to find a new residence in south Austin. Any ideas? He makes great
Money.

You're going to need to find a very understanding landlord, look for an owner-operated property like a condo or SFH.

What kind of felon? His choice of dogs suggests he still makes poor decisions...

Your comment suggests that you are very judgemental. Did it make you feel better about yourself to make that comment? I hope so.

It did actually enter my mind there would be some problems with
The dog breed, but my bf just didnt really care what I had to say about it, although.
I feel VERY safe when he goes out of town. Not all pits are raised the same.

I have experience training Pit Bulls, Presas, Neos, English Mastiffs, Corsos, Malinois, German Shepards, and Rottweilers. Training for obedience and family protection. But I've also had other breeds as my personal dog. Any dog can be dangerous if not handled properly. Pit Bull such a beautiful breed!

Lol whatever's. pit bull owners always says their dogs are sweet and harmless. Just like the owner's dog that bit my dads lip off. My wife works in healthcare and hears the same crap from the pit bull owners who's dogs maul countless kids...

Ppl who have these dumb dogs have poor judgment. Being a felon means u have a history of poor judgment... Good luck finding a place...

Contact Love-A-Bull. They are pittie advocacy group and they know pittie friendly landlords. They just had a home for rent on their FB page recently.

My neighbor used to have a pit bull......until it charged a police officer three times in a row and he shot it. BTW these former pit bull owners do not rent but own a SFH.
