We have some company coming into town in May and as we don't have kids we don't know any babysitters. Our friends have infant twins (less than 1 year) and are trying to find someone who can babysit them who has experience with twins. If there's already a thread on this topic I apologize. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

Thanks so much.

Sittercity.com or Care.com is their best bet since you don't know anyone. You can see sitters' credentials and there are usually a good number with multiple experience.

Also, some daycares, such as Children's Courtyard, Primrose, or Bright Horizons do drop-in's if there is space available.

You didn't say where in town you were - Wanna play playcare has locations in Round Rock and near Lakeline mall. They do drop in daycare - but for any kids under 18 months, they do require 24 hours notice at least. (I think it has to do with state law.) There's a couple of other drop in childcare facilities in town as well. It'll be pricy for only a couple of days because all of those places have a start up fee.

You don't need someone who has experience with twins, you just need someone who is experienced. A mature woman who has raised a few little ones.
I wish I could help. I'd love to watch them, but the commute is killer.
