I've never seen so many cloudy days and it never rains. Is that a Texas thing?

Yep...and it probably won't rain. It's the Hutto dry bubble phenomenon.

Yes, though it looks like the rain might actually be coming tomorrow. It did rain for a good 20-30 minutes here in central Austin late last night.

OK, using snarly voice:

Of course it did! It's Central Austin.

Lol. I did get a few raindrops in SW Austin, but nothing to talk about....so not sure why I am talking about it... .

Rain chances are at 40-60-30 for the next three days, so maybe we get something.

Hopefully the East Round Rock "bubble" won't be up in place for those rain chances the next few days. I went ahead and gave my veggie garden a good watering this morning anyway.

Let's just hope the bubble over the hill country goes away. I would like to have a lake again someday.

I'm with you! Fortunately, history says we will. '06 to '07. '09 to '10.

But it is really hard to wait, isn't it?

We'll be beggin' for some clouds in about three weeks. These damp and/or cold Saturday mornings are puttin' a damper on my fun bike rides. We finally have the potential for a warm Saturday AM and now they're talking about rain!

So this has happened to me too often: the forecast says its going to rain on Thursday or Friday. I am supposed to run the sprinklers on Thursday (and I only get one day to do it,) so I turn off the system, since there is going to be rain. Then the rain doesn't materialize. So now its Saturday, everything is wilting, and I can't run the sprinklers until the next Thursday. I end up hand watering. I wish the forecasters could be a little more accurate, but that's probably impossible.
