Not unless you live in a pie tin.

A buck-forty I reckon...on days when ambient temps approach 100. If there's no ventilation at all, I would think it could hit 150 on a bad day.

My attic has a wind driven ventilator (the kind where you see some fins sticking out from the roof and revolving) so I am hoping it stays below 120-130.

I need to put a thermometer up in my attic sometime and check... I am curious too.

I know that in my skylights, it gets to 120 degrees in the summer (I've tested with one of those laser thermometers) so I'd imagine the attic would be at least that high.

I had a contractor come and he told me it can get to 140-150 in summer in the attic.
