Hi. Just moved to Crystal Falls in Leander and I'm looking for a good preschool for my daughter who is 3 and a half. I'm not looking for full time childcare, just a few hours a couple days a week. I'm guessing this time of year, most schools have wait lists, but I'm just wondering where to get my name on the list. Thanks.

Here are a few I've looked at (I live near Cedar Park)

Peace Lutheran Preschool (on 620)
Church at Canyon Creek (on 620)
Rising Stars Preschool (on 620)
Hope Children's Center (off Anderson Mill)
Bluebonnet Preschool
The Goddard School (opening next week, they still have availability in all classes, they are at Cypress Creek and El Salido - but very pricey)
First Foundations (behind Wendy's on 620)

Almost all of the programs are waitlisted but you never know. I just got my 4.5 year old into a program at Peace Lutheran as they had a last minute opening (my son is being discharged from special ed services midyear). Some of the waitlists roll over year to year; others you have to re-register and that usually happens in February.

I'm sure there are other places closer to you in Crystal Falls, but maybe some of these will at least get you started! Good luck.

This one is good, small, and personal and will enroll you right away if there's a spot. And its right down the road from you at New Hope and Lakeline.

Cedar Park Kids Day Out

Another popular one is Good Shepherd Lutheran, but they almost always have a waiting list:

New Hope Baptist Church has a good preschool/MDO program:

And so does this cute little Methodist church in downtown Leander:

Welcome to the area!
