We are moving to SW Austin next month and really like the Circle C area. We would like our older child to go to Gorzycki but we still have a child in elementary (2nd). It's looking like we may have to rent a home while our current house sells. If we do rent for a year, once we buy a house, we want our youngest to go to the same elementary school as she did when we rented. That all being said, I'd like to get opinions on both Clayton and Kiker from parents who have children at one of them. Thanks!

I think they're both great. I also think Mills is good - maybe even better in terms of principal and certain teachers. You could get in the Mills district and still feed to Gorzycki.

I would not base a choice of home on which of those schools the address fed in to. The renting and buying in the same school feed may be difficult, but I think there are some 'transfers' allowed to stay in the same school (or possibly transfer to the one you plan to buy in to), but you had better ask AISD directly on that.
